Event organisers Swift Medals Ltd are a new addition to our Think Tank.
They describe themselves as “one stop shop for Event Supplies”. Currently employing eight staff, the company has gained exposure across the globe from Italy to the North Pole, covering a spectrum of sporting events including 10k races, triathlons and half marathons.
Swift Medals have moved to larger premises due to the rapid expansion of the company and to continue business growth. The move has allowed the company to add an additional three employees to the team including a new business development officer, events co-ordinator and operations manager.
Having started in 2013 from a garage in Lincoln, Director and Head Designer Chris Dolan managed to grow the business by 648% in turnover in the second year, with following years seeing an 81% increase and then 45%. With the new site and additional staff, the firm expects to increase turnover again this year by another 55%.
In December 2015 they launched sister company Swift Run Events, organising mass participation fun runs across the country.
Chris said: “The events industry changes so fast so we know the importance of being able to adapt to the market trends, we like to keep one ear to ground. With us being a company lead by originality and innovation, we like to throw our hat into the ring on a full range of projects.
